In addition to being a cabinet maker, I am also an artist. I started painting when I was eight years old, taking art lessons during the summers. I painted my first portrait, one of my son Dan, when he left for college. He is our youngest child. I had little time for painting while my wife and I raised our three children. When the last child left, I took the opportunity to get back to painting.
